They are not native to the UK. They come from East Asia. They escaped from a wildlife park and have spread all over the south of England. The same thing is happening with Wallabies but to a lesser extent.

That is the only difference I could see. They are not penned in and are free to roam around they come up to people but do not like being touched (not that I have tried)
