Here's the echo dot on Amazon. It's pretty neat. I have a smart light bulb I can turn on and off. I'm going to set it up to turn on my computer.

I didn't need one at all, but it was $19.99 with a smart light bulb. I can put those throughout the house and control them from wherever there's an echo dot. Not that I need to do that, either. I have no issues flipping a switch. I really got it to see what it's capable of doing. To be honest, it's a novelty. But the world is changing, so I don't want to be left completely behind!
