Thanks Jerry, All will be fine as I don't have to have the blood test first. The worst part is the waiting as when I get there I have to wait at least an hour and a half for it to be prepared and the two hours for the infusion and about another half hour at the end for tests. Every other time I have an extra hour and a half wait for a blood test before they start. But I am used to it now, and it does work so feeling good

It is pretty much the same each time, if one part of it is running late, quite often the other part will be quicker, The infusion itself always takes exactly 2 hours as it is done at a fixed rate.

I never had more than a slight sniffle and a bit of a cough. I think it was day 3 of mine that I just slept the whole day through. After that it was a steady recovery over about 3-4 days.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

We have wifi, but I just take a book to read, as i do it every 8 weeks I know the drill inside out, like getting there ten mins early and you get an extra coffee, pick the right seat and you get first choice of the sarnies. I hope yours goes well, mine is fine just a thing I have to do bi-monthly

This one is my first chemotherapy session, and I'll be getting 6 at 3 week intervals. I went there on Friday for bloods and swab tests before treatment starts. Almost everyone being treated had a laptop or a tablet ;)

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven below to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro.

I have my fingers crossed for you, that does not sound good whereas mine is simple and straight foreword, the only downside with mine is I have no immune system or a very compromised one

@Bree how long are you in there for, mine is about 3 1/2 to 4 hours 5 to 6 every other visit, so a long day when you are just sat there as the put the canular in your arm as soon as you get there
