I have smart meters which they are supposed to get accurate readings from. Gas is ok but I always check. Electricity they haven't been able to read my smart meter for a year now. I didn't notice this, and they didn't bother to tell me, so they sent me estimated readings for six months. When I checked I discovered they had overcharged me about £50. Now I supply readings every month and get billed on that.
