Google Chrome does not have a built-in "Safe Mode" button like other apps, but you can achieve the same effect by disabling extensions, using Incognito mode, or running a command.

Using Incognito Mode (Disables Extensions)

Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + N (Mac) to open an Incognito window.

Click the three dots menu in the top right and select New Incognito window.

If the Chrome works then one of the extensions causing the problem.

Can you install Firefox, and see if that also freezes?
Have to start by isolating whether it is a Chromium issue or not.
