How to get the Chrome Download bar back in latest Chrome release.

I have found the answer of how to get the download bar back if you don't like the bubble that replaced it as you cannot turn it off in flags anymore.
Right click the shortcut to chrome and edit the target box by adding this to the end after the word chrome.exe" -disable-features=DownloadBubble
Don't forget the space at the end of .exe" and before -disable. Close chrome and reopen it remembering to completely close chrome if you keep it running in the background.

Works for me, I found this in a mag.

Since the upgrade to version 120 of chrome it should be --disable-features=DownloadBubble (just a double -- after the space at the start) also if it doesn't work delete shortcuts, go to Chrome.exe and create a new shortcut and add --disable-features=DownloadBubble again to the new shortcut.

@glasskuter I believe that has changed since that article was published as newer versions of Chrome have been introduced.

@glasskuter I have found that the first time I download something after start up, it uses the bubble, afterward it uses the download bar again. maybe I should re-enable allow chrome to run in background
