it could be one more feature that is malfunctioning...
I already reported on a different issue to Mozilla. crtl-tabbing to and from a YouTube tab made it so it would not pause/play the video.
using the space-bar.

1880701 - YouTube shortcut navigation issue, when CTRL-tabbing between tabs Firefox is not longer focuses on the vid.

Odd, I highlight text then right click option to copy is greyed out....Click on address bar go back to text then it will copy and paste

My FF copies fine, and I'm on the latest version. 125.0.2
Is there a particular site where the problem occurs?
Or does it happen everywhere?

Go to Help > Troubleshoot Mode. That will start Firefox with no extensions running.
If the problem goes away... then it's one of your extensions causing the issue.

If the problem remains (even in Troubleshoot Mode)... then I'd use REVO Uninstaller to completely uninstall Firefox. Export your book marks, first.
Then do a clean install of Firefox.

I recently installed Firefox and copy paste didn't work either.
I did a little research and found this tip that worked for me:

If you are using Firefox, copy and paste about:config on the address bar. Search for “clipboard” on the search bar and click the toggle icon to set the value to True for the settings mentioned below.

dom.events.asyncClipboard.clipboardItem false
dom.events.asyncClipboard.readText false
dom.events.testing.asyncClipboard
