It's 1st of March here in NZ. The only page I can get to work is edge://flags & edge://version.
Settings, bookmarks, components, extensions, new tab, any actual website etc is all a no go.

UPDATE!! Nails89 on this thread relates this issue to "enhanced web protection" being enabled in privacy settings. I have this enabled, as well as strict instead of balanced. I can't load the settings page & don't really want erase my settings & data by altering my Edge user folder in AppData as per the linked suggestion, so instead I downloaded a batch file from option 4 here (since I can't load settings): Enable or Disable Enhanced Security Mode in Microsoft Edge Tutorial

This worked! Edge will open & work as normally. However as stated on the tin, it greys out some of the security options in settings, so you cannot alter them. I then tried downloading the batch file in option 5, which resets it to the default setting of being back on. Broken immediately after installing this. I can recreate this, so clearly in my case, the breakage relates to having ehnaced web protection enabled.

For others with a working version of Edge 122.0.2365.63 - do you have enhanced web protection enabled?

I have 'Balanced' selected, turned it "OFF", and the tabs I was having trouble with worked as expected. Turning Balanced back ON and the tab is broken with the memory error. So think your on the right track, like you... I won't turn it off... wait for the fix. (hopefully)

Problem is I can't even get Settings to work for me...
Updated to the latest Microsoft Edge Stable 122.0.2365.63 version... and it killed everything.
When I restart my browser I get a “Not enough memory to open this page” warning, and if I try to go into my Settings I get a “This page is having a problem” warning. :cautious:

Someone on tenforums who is having no problems with any tabs after updating Edge reports they have "Enhanced web protection" off. So yes, seems it relates. Just scrambling to turn this setting off on all the laptops in the house, before Edge updates automatically as an automatic scheduled task. I've updated the feedback hub with this finding. I'm not sure if it is on by default or if I turned it on on our machines, I've a feeling it was the latter....

No me neither @asturias7 hence downloading the reg file from option 4 as detailed in my post you've replied to, which disbles the relevant setting.

The post I linked to on MS Answers (see Nails89 comment) links to this post, which gives you a way to load edge as a fresh installation with all your data & setings erased. Apparently that enables you to get to settings & browse as normal, but the downside is you have to start again & redo all your settings, bookmarks, profiles etc. It's either that or download the reg file as I did, & keep everything, but with the relevant security settings greyed out so they cannot be turned on (unless you download the reg file in option 5 which reverses it).

Geesh, don't know why or how I completely missed that... apologies, it's been a long day.
 I will try that and get back to you.

*Update: So I downloaded and added the reg file in Option 4 and now Edge works for me.
Thanks!

MS has withdrawn ver. 122.0.2365.59
Really? That version works fine on all our machines in the house. It is only 122.0.2365.63 that causes a problem here, & only if Enhanced web protection is toggled on, with "strict" instead of "balanced" selected. Maybe there was something altered in 122.0.2365.59 that was a precursor to the issue in the following version.

Someone on another forum has had no problem with enhanced turned on when they're not signed in with a MS account (though they didn't specify if they were using balanced or strict). All our Edges installations are signed in with a MS account, but no settings are synced at all.

The quality of MS is really worse and worse. MS should withdraw this 122.0.2365.63 version immediately.

AAWW F*CK, I just installed Edge 122.0.2365.63 last night and only to find out recently that it's buggy!
reverting back to 122.0.2365.59 and using the .59 MSI installer from the ms catalog site (why didn't MS carefully test these new versions before releasing them?)

v122.0.2365.63 is still mentioned in the Edge stable release notes page and 122.0.2365.63 is still available on the Edge business download page but only for Linux & macOS platforms (the Windows editions of Edge v122.0.2365.63 have been removed from there)
