@Megahertz - It could be the data for Edge under your profile has problems. You can always try the other branches of Edge like Beta or Canary just to see if those work or not as Stab;e, Beta and Canary all install and use different folders so they are independent from each other. What you can also do is try this:
Go to %localappdata% and find the folder Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default

make sure Edge is not running, then rename Default folder to default-old
Then restart Edge, it should create a new default folder and start with a new profile.

Didn't work. Don't worrier, I use Firefox, Win 11 is just for learning something new (my main OS is Win 7) so I won't miss Edge. Thanks

Next time when this happens with ExplorerPatcher installed, try hitting Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager, then choose to run explorer.exe manually from there (use the option to Run new task, but remember to leave the checkbox unchecked in the window that appears). If the explorer process crashes again right after, you should still be able to successfully run this:
"C:\Program Files\ExplorerPatcher\ep_setup.exe" /uninstall
And finally choose to reinstall ExplorerPatcher to see if that changes anything. I have experienced this same problem of getting a black screen with ExplorerPatcher multiple times, occasionally it happens right after a new build of Windows 11 has been installed. This is one of those old bugs in ExplorerPatcher that valinet never fixed. (I reported the bug to valinet on GitHub a long time ago, when it was still possible to post a comment to this project on GitHub.) When Windows starts, it [ExplorerPatcher] is supposed to automatically detect the new build and download the updated symbols from Microsoft, but apparently this fails often. The good news is, the workaround method I described above works, at least for me it has worked every single time. Just to be clear, I only use the latest Production (what I like to call Outsider) builds of Windows 11.
