Many thanks.
The Edge update service always is in manual mode (I disabled them in Task Scheduler and had no problem, yet). I don't have a restart option there (restart the service is disabled):

By pressing the "Start" (service) I get this error:

Options 3-5 would burn my Edge. I am sure! :woozy:

Hello. I haven’t experienced this personally, but I’ve heard this can be to do with Update centre in armoury crate, if you use that? Although, looking at your specs I don’t see why you would have it. Perhaps your computer has its own built in update software.

I updated to this version right when it came out and am not going back to a Macrium backup made before installing this version as I had installed many updates after this.

Actually to update, all you need to do is go to Edge Settings > Help and Feedback > About Microsoft Edge

and Edge then updates automatically as you watch.
