How have you installed Office LTSC 2024? From the ISO, web installer or using Office Deployment Tool? Is it full version or preview? (The Preview version is not recommended anymore) I recommend using the ISOS directly from MS https://officecdn.microsoft.com/db/...7c6ddf67d60/media/en-us/ProPlus2024Retail.img (change en-US for your language)

Does anyone know:
When I type a hyphen in Office, (actually, PowerPoint, in this case), it will randomly insert an M-Dash instead of a hyphen...,
it's very random..., does office take a stab in the dark for you!?!?!?
Constantly have to backspace and change them!!! 🤷‍♂️

I was going to buy Office 2024 Home & Business today full price from the Microsoft site. But I decided to make one last attempt to find out if Classic Outlook in 2024 Home & Business was the same as Outlook in Microsoft 365 where as for the non disclosed future, PST files are not an option.

I got through to Microsoft Accounts in a chat session which I found promising until "Maria" told me that she didn't know and I quote "We only help with license & installation issues"

I thought to myself, that one would expect if you were helping people with installation, my question would be something you would need to know.

Regardless, Maria told me she didn't want me to have wasted my time (I got through in 3 minutes) and told me she would patch me through to a chat with the technical team.

I waited patiently for 30 minutes watching my iPad screen in Safari waiting for a tech to get on and tell me how sexy my typing was.
The screen refreshed... blank.. nothing.

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow.

I had a very similar experience with the Magix Vegas support team recently. I exchanged a few emails with a very personable chap, who suggested a couple of things, which didn't work. Then he 'passed my query on' to the technical hub who 'would be in touch'. That was three weeks ago. I even got a survey to fill in about my experience. It was clear from the survey that they were primarily interested in the rate of response, and the politeness of the support guy, rather than in whether a solution was achieved.

Doesn't make a difference if you disable Grammar Assistance either.
