nope, nearly 3 years old been used 16 hours a day. Warranties in NZ are crummy.

Luckily the system became very alarmed and shutdown the pc. Not before the system failure wrecked the boot sector stuff in Windows with a dreadful black screen with an error message in a blood red font showed up.

I have the same error for my 365. Error ID = 300, starts on 23.01.2026 and since then comes back daily. Word seems to work normally (haven't tried the others).
edit: Microsoft Word für Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2601 Build 16.0.19628.20132) 64 Bit.
Last Office update on my machine was on 30.01.2026.

Actually, it is about "Microsoft Forms", but I do not have that as part of my 365 Office package?

If the Error 300s are still occurring with 19728 then we've a long time to wait on release - now on 19628 - and theyve likely been around at least a month now. In the past, similar errors referenced add-on packages but DisplayName=Microsoft Forms doesn't seem to be something that can be deselected. They don't seem to reflect a 'crash' as such, or any other impact, but account for the majority of events logged at Error level.

Don't think my heart could stand another serious component failure like this one that crashed the PC, corrupted the UEFI Bios Secure Boot settings and Windows all in one foul swoop.

I just upgraded unsupported Office 2016 on my HP laptop to Office 365 provided free from my local school where I am a governor. My personal MS account has two Office 2021 licence keys. I had to delete all Office credentials and install Office 365 in a local account using my school MS account to prevent the installer using the Office 2021 licence keys on my MS personal account. Why does MS make such installations so difficult?
