I tried a couple of times to get Malwarebytes on my Win11 machine, it just crashes the whole system. I wonder f it is a conflict with Norton security. Not a problem as I don't need Malwarebytes as Norton does a grand job.

I dont think you need both if your being sensible with your machine.

That's right, Norton only does the same as Malwarebytes, it's just that I had them both since the year dot so when I upgraded from 10 to 11 they were on the system it's only when Malwarebytes updated it all went wrong. thanks

You could use this opportunity with Windows 11 release to do a clean install and just use MBM.

Are you running O&O Shutup? Those i believe are the registry changes it makes to disable Windows Update Automatic Update of offers, drivers, or user experiences. I can't remember exactly but i get those two also and i'm using ShutupWin10++ with pretty much everything on.
