Do I need Malwarebytes? I'm just using Windows security, and never had any big problems...
Is it safer with it? Ant does it slow down the PC?

I know software like norton was slowing down computers way back in the 90's 🤣

It really depends on how you use your PC and what you download. If you don't do anything nefarious then Defender should be enough.

I'm downloading like 500 GB / month, but from site's that I trust.
Been using computers since the 90's, and I'm a nerd in some ways :ROFLMAO:
So I know what I can and can't do.
Never feld the need for extra security...
The only thing I use is Win Defender and a VPN.

It installs as the "premium" version. After 14 days, it reverts to a free version, with some of its features deactivated.

I'm slightly ashamed to admit that's what I have been using for years. I don't keep it active, just using it to scan at odd intervals. So far, it has only found a few PuPs (potentially unwanted programs), which aren't serious malware.
