You're not alone. You will notice that this post is in in a category named "BSOD Crash Analysis". BSOD stands for Blue Screen of Death which does sound ominous, doesn't it? That's because they are. Nothing can put the fear of the computer gods into a computer user any faster. Windows displays the dreaded blue screen in the event of a fatal system error. Blue screens can be caused by many different things from bad ram, drivers, defective hardware, corrupt registry, or viruses and many times are very hard to debug (computer speak which means get to the the source of the fatal error by analyzing certain logs which are also written in computer speak)

So far this particular thread is only 25 posts in. If you really want to think you are in an alternative universe, try to follow one of the troubleshooting threads that have 100 posts or more. They are way above my head and I've been a geek a long time.

After a week of continued monitoring, I only experienced a single unrelated crash (detailed in the previous post), so I'm considering this one solved.
Reverting back from Windows 11 to Windows 10 caused the hardware issues with my Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller to disappear.

Hi,

Been using Windows for about a month now. First week was great, but now it's just crashing on me continuously.

You are not alone! Lenovo refuses to admit there is a problem with windows 11 drivers. Tech spent over an hour on my laptop only to tell me in the end to reinstall windows 10. The latest march drivers relating to windows 11 power management Does not solve the issue.

My issue with X11 AMD gen1 involves refusing to wake up at times. So unpredictable when this happens as many atimes it does wake up. I vowed to settle say a hp firefly or even dell if this doesn't get fixed soon.

Re-installed Windows 10 and so far working.

Hi,

Been using Windows for about a month now. First week was great, but now it's just crashing on me continuously.
There are two general problems:
  • Problem 1: When putting my laptop to sleep for a few hours, about 60% of the time I notice it has rebooted when I wake it back up. It seems to be waking from sleep randomly and then crashing.
  • Problem 2: When I disconnect my laptop from my Lenovo dock and then reconnect it, my external mouse and keyboard (connected to the Lenovo USB-C Dock Gen 2) stop working. A restart will fix this, but restarting will without fail cause Windows to hang on 'Restarting...' and I will need to hard reboot the system.
Problem 1 produces the 'Windows stopped working' error message in the screenshot attached. Problem details are as follows:

Device specifications:

Windows specifications:

The system is less than a year old and is still under warranty.
The Lenovo docking station was purchased together with the laptop.

Log collector output is available here:
I have the same problem have been searching for months finally found the solution. Re-installed win 11 twice! Here it is: Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery is a battery driver for Windows that deals with battery usage in your laptop. The ACPI stands for Advanced Configuration and Power Interface. The OS communicates with the BIOS, with the help of ACPI, to power up different internal hardware. There is a persistent Win 11 bug with this driver and computer usually crashes when battery reaches 100%. One solution is to pull out the power before battery reaches 100%--does not work for everyone, The other workaround is Device Manager-- expand Batteries-- and find "Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method" Rt click and disable this then reboot-works for me! Unfortunately the battery icon and control disappears. I have informed both Lenovo and Microsoft of this hope they fix it soon!

problem 1 - why put it to sleep? I just turn my pc off - less power, less wear.
