That's for sure, what I'd been thinking since I first started reading this thread. I can't imagine a situation where one needs six of these connected to a pc, there must be a better way of doing what he wants to do.If the OP is really running 6 external USB drives at once then a hub or a docking station has to be involved, doesn't it?
I can't recall ever seeing a laptop with 6 USB ports, let alone 12.
There is a piece missing in this puzzle.
