Not that anyone asked for it or wants to hear it, but being overly concerned by one of the major PW managers server being hacked is a non-starter IMO . Can those servers be hacked? Of course they can. Anything can be hacked. Protecting the master password with a passcode or 2fa can solve that. (For me 2fa is a pain so it's not my jam when it comes to my PW manager but I do have all critical financial sites protected with 2fa) In any shape or form, passwords are definitely safe in a password manager than on a notepad in your desk drawer, stuck to your wall with sticky notes, or stored in a word doc on your computer. (Yes they're safer in your head, but I'd like to see anyone remember over 200 individual paswords.)
There is no such thing as 100% safe computing. The only way one can be 100% safe is unplug your computer and never plug it back in. Instead, I choose to practice safe computing as best as I know how and as best as I understand it. I'm glad I am not one for paranoia or I would have been in the loony bin years ago. Chances are 99% of us have some of our info leaked to the dark web. I know I do as I was involved in a hospital breach a few years ago. Do I lose sleep over it? No I don't. I accept that computing in todays world comes with risks.
