Hello,

I am after a image software that can do batch processing of images for say brightness, colour, gamma etc...
as at the moment i have adjust say brightness to my preference one image at a time which is a inconvenient slow process and image resizing is no problem
as i use Mihov Image Resizer a very old program which stills works ok and very simple to use.

Thank you

In the freeware program Faststone Image Viewer (click for information) you have the option (under tab Extra) Convert selected images and then you get this window:

After you activate Use advanced options (see red arrow), and clicking Options, you can tell the program what has to be changed:

Normally I only use it for resizing, but there's much more possible, you can 'batch' change about everything you could do manually with the program. One of the options is changing the brightness, colour, gamma etc., exactly as you would want:

You can even save all options to a file (see arrow) and use them later on again!
The last used option (including everything you did activate) will be active the next time you start the program.

May be this program will fulfill your wishes. It it totally free and as long as you download it from the site of the maker will be virusfree.

I saw in the program I mentioned, that I can set its language to English.
Indepently of my system language (which I will not change at all).
So if you would wish so, I could make the same screenshots in the English version.
Please let me know in an answer if you would like me to do that.

Thanks for reply Kees,

I have tried Faststone Image Viewer ages ago and at that time i found it a bit too fiddly and will re- download it and give it a go and try it
properly as some users find using separate image programs and others prefer all in one packages like Faststone and if it does what i want
i may not use the separate image programs which i currently use ie Hypersnap, Mihov Image Resizer and Rename4u ,a batch image file renaming program from Kelly Utilities which is another old program no longer being updated.

The only way to find out is to try Faststone.

Bye have a nice evening.
