I just joined this Forum, Thank you. My problem is with the Mail App in Windows 11. The email account that is through my ISP was compromised and I had to change my password. I can't find how I change this password in the App settings. I have looked a the help topics, Googled it, I also try Microsoft Edge Bing search. What I have been told to do has not gotten me where I need to be. There always seems to be something missing when I get in the settings for the mail app. Also it looks like Microsoft seems to want me to change to Outlook for my mail. I tried that and had trouble as well. The version of Windows Mail that I have is Version 16005.14326.21768.0 if that makes any difference. Thank You.

Welcome to the forum. In the mail app, I suggest you first export your contacts to a file to be on the safe side.

Then delete your account in Mail. Delete an email account from Mail and Calendar apps - Microsoft Support

Restart, and re-create your email account in the mail app with your new password. Your contacts should still be there. If not import them from the file you exported.

You need to remove the ISP Account from the Mail App. Then Add it again with the new details.
There maybe missing settings for syncing Contacts and Calendars.
i.e. in "Options for syncing your content"

That depends on the Email provider of your ISP Email.
Research the options for syncing that ISP provided Mail Account.

Using mine as an example only the Mail is Synced.

The mention of an Outlook Mail Account is only relevant as it will sync Contacts and Calendars and has the ability to export contacts as CSV or whatever.
However, if you have no syncing of contacts with the ISP provided Mail Account that is of no use.
