Windows 11 Canary Channel
I'm running Mezzmo media server on a mini pc connected to my network. In File Explorer it usually shows in this PC under Network location. When I click on it, it opens as a folder with all of my content. Other times it's not listed and I can only access it through Network Devices and when I click on it, Media player opens and nothing is organized in their own folder. I can still access the content but it's a mess trying to find what I'm trying to play. My questions are, why doesn't Mezzmo always show under Network connections so I can just open up the folders? Is there something I can do to have Mezzmo always show and not be a hit or miss problem?

Hello! Does Mezzmo use a Service? You can open powershell and run
Powershell:
Get-Service *m

Do you see a service listed? In the Status section, does it show running?

I can't access the Mini PC because the TV it is connected to is being used. I do know that I have the Mezzmo sever set to auto start and the PC set to never sleep. I did make a small correction to my post and my next post has a little more info.

Update: I found where I posted Network Location instead of Network Devices and I made the correction in my post. I also found that if I play a video, Mezzmo will show up under Network Locations. This does tell me that there is a chance that it just may be a setting I need to set on the Mini Pc.

This is the folder that occasionally disappears in File Explorer.

I think I solved my problem. At the top of File Exploer there are three dots. I clicked on the dots and saw an option to connect to a media server. So far the Icon hasn't disapeared.
