The link acquired via the Fast channel probably means it's still beta and most likely not pushed to the Store yet!

Yes, but this works much better:

Powershell:

Get-AppxPackage | Select Name, PackageFullName

And if you want to have it saved to CSV, so you can open it directly in your favorite spreadsheet program all nice and tabulated, use this:

Powershell:

Get-AppxPackage | Select Name, PackageFullName | Export-CSV .\InstalledApps.csv

Edited my reply to add an export to csv to the command as well.

Now you can search easily for newer versions of the apps and see what's out there.

Media Player 11.2208.25.0 its not official released to the MS Store

its only on Microsoft Store - Generation Project (v1.2.3) [by @rgadguard & mkuba50] store at RP pre-release state.... :)

I don't trust anything that has no clear way of deleting the MRU / Cache or temp files ......... be gone , uninstalled
