Memory and Bios

Here's a screenshot of the files I downloaded.
The file "XGS32WCS" described as "Setup Information" is the INF file I mentioned in post 11. Right click on it, and choose "install". That'll do it.

One of the first things I do in a new Windows installation is to enable displaying file extensions. (I don't understand why Microsoft hides them by default.)

Sometimes that doesn't work. I always go to device manager then update driver and either it works or I'm told there is no information about my device in that location, so then I have to force it to install. And it's been so long since I had to do that that I kinda forgot how exactly. But if you right click the inf and pick install, I don't think it gives any feedback about whether it installed or not. Maybe it's different nowadays idk.

But I'm guessing all that would be different in the Asus driver is these various timings listed in the CRU utility. Honestly, they are probably the same as the generic driver.

I found a video from Asus that showed me how to correctly download the driver. My computer now shows my Asus ROG Strix as my monitor. Yay!
What's the model number of your monitor?
It's an ASUS ROG Strix 32

There are a number of 32" monitor models under the Asus Strix label.

As regards file extensions, it's under the File Explorer Options control panel.

Uncheck the box for "Hide extensions for known file types".

One of the unfortunate things about Windows 11 is that it has both Settings and the old Control Panels, and both are still needed.
