I'm using Malwarebytes Premium and Defender simultaneously. The guff you see online about that not being possible is hogwash. MBAM is designed to work with Defender full-time. So, what is your other AV?

It was more about - should I turn Memory Integrity on and why is it turned off.

Only reason I mentioned other AV was in case that automatically covers Memory Integrity anyway.

About to do a system image and want to get all my settings right :-)

Lol! I thought there must be a reason it was off. I turned it on and it's telling me I can't. Apparently this can be due to driver incompatability. It's probably because I installed the new Intel graphics driver recently (which was necessary).Memory Integrity.jpg

"Turning on the Memory integrity setting would block these incompatible drivers from loading. Because blocking these drivers might cause unwanted or unexpected behaviors, the Memory integrity setting is turned off to allow these drivers to load.

If you want to restore the Memory integrity setting, you can try to resolve a driver incompatibility by seeing if an updated and compatible driver is available through Windows Update or from the driver manufacturer. Microsoft does not recommend that you delete drivers to attempt to restore this setting." MS support site

I wouldn't really rely on Reddit as a source of reliable information. You may be able to force it to be turned on using the following registry key:

Rich (BB code): 
reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios\HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity /v Enabled /t REG_DWORD /d 0x1 /f

You'll need to reboot the machine afterwards. I wouldn't really recommend it though.

I forced mine using this method . and it worked . and have no other issues . Here is a video of the same thing . easier to follow , and other ways if that does not work............................

It took me a week to find something to work after trying everything , tweaking and untweeking . going to all the sites . dell , Intel, etc.. to download all the updates for all drivers , Bios, . And even after doing this I still had SAD SAD Microsoft trying to infiltrate and update them back . All for this integrity. It is fixed , I feel better . Glad I didn't throw PC through the window with all the circling back

Try turning it on again. Then when it fails, click on 'Review incompatible drivers' and it will tell you exactly which ones are to blame.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

    UPDATE - 11 April 2026: due to mechanical deterioration this PC has been retired from active duty. The OS with all software and files has been migrated to my System Seven in 'Other systems' to carry on as my general purpose 'main machine'.

Well, if that's the only obstacle then if you want to enable Memory Integrity you should look for updates for that driver, or if none you could uninstall Capture One. My example is an old video driver, for which there is no update, so I'm stuck with it :wink:

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2, and 25H2 on 30th September 2025 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 25H2.

I think if your AV uses hardware virtualization, then you can turn it off.
