Solved Microphone not working

I have generic mic, it worked last time on Windows 10 I tried. It is showing normally in device manager - "device functions properly" message. But it doesn't work and when i listen to it i hear nothing, nor ppl hear me! I have plugged it in the back, pink jack. I have installed drivers for my motherboard hmm, never had this issue before it should work but doesn't work some reason... I will test it yet on other device when i get chance...

Any ideas, i have chronic pain, can someone help me TY!

Not really a solution for you, but just a thought.

Try it in the front, if applicable. I too, have had this issue before, but only when installing it in the back. The front jack worked perfectly.

Bad jack or connection perhaps. I really don't know, sorry.

Oh it simply wasn't allowed in privacy, i guess that change from windows 10 and i disable everythting automatically... Was nothing for once :)
