Microsoft could be bringing ads to the Windows 11 File Explorer

Some Windows Insiders have reported seeing ads in the Windows 11 File Explorer, particularly in build 22572, which was released last week.

That would be a very bad move. Essential/ core apps should be left out from such practices or their costs should be included with the price of the main product - Windows.

MS could offer two versions. One free on any device but with ads or a paid for version that can only be used on one device at a time.

So what's different to current releases of Windows 11, it's full of advertising apps for entertainment streaming services.

In any case, it won't matter, I'd give it 12 hours, Tops!, Max!, before a patch/blocker is available ....
