As far as I know (happy to be corrected by one of the elite guru's) but by default Windows Update only updates Windows itself.
When you are using a Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) installation or a Click-to-Run installation of Office 2013, Office 2016, Office 2019, and Office 2021, then the updates will not be offered via Windows Update but will be installed automatically, hence will NOT show in the Windows Update history

Ok so it should be no concern, but when I earlier installed Off 2013 its updates did show, after having purchased 2021 they don't but keeps updating onscreen with none entries in windows updates...

Thanks.

First thing, as my post said, "Click-to-Run installation of Office" versions do not show in Windows Update history. It is not important on what Office 2013 used to do (Which version you had etc).

You are now using a new PC with Windows 11 & Office 2021, stop worrying about what used to happen and sit back, chill and enjoy the experience of using your new machine without trying to change things or stress about what is not there.

Like others have said, if it ain't broken less worry, more enjoyment, then if something is NOT working properly, then ask for advice before going down a rabbit's hole chasing your tail for NO reason :)

Correct its click to run.

Thanks again, appreciate your expert input!
