Hello Folks, do you know what has to be done to violate MS Agreement. Here is what I did.
I upgraded my Win 10 laptop to Win 11 a few days ago. I noticed there was a newer version of Windows Mail was available. I tried it but I did not like it, so I reverted to the original version. On attempting to send an email, I was informed my account (hotmail.com) was locked.

No problem. I hadn't checked my Hotmail in awhile so got a similar request, had Hotmail send a code to my local E-Mail [provided by my ISP], copied and pasted and all good.

Just curious....have you tried clicking Next and entering the code sent to your phone?

Last night, I tried to register my phone and set up 2FA to use Google Authenticator App for an outlook.com account. So I had a Live Chat with a Microsoft Agent. A waste of time.
I created a new Gmail account, it took under 10 minutes to secure it. My phone number was accepted & verified, and I set it to use Google Authenticator app.
I then retried to do the same for my outlook.com account, It failed.
