The thing is though, again, is that you reinstalled Windows. I am not qualified to instruct you on how to isolate and test drivers or whatever these smart guys get members to try. Curious if this started after Windows install or after driver updates or software installs. If you know.
im really not sure what the cause could be, my best guess is it has to do with me having a local account

every other web site loads so it can be safe to say the internet is working.
its just the store that wont connect even after about every repair in the book to get it working.

now this is an old old check which used to play havoc if it wasn't set right
its the BIOS time. please go into your BIOS settings and check the BIOS date and time.

after that i am fresh out of ideas as even a reinstall has failed.

Yeah right. There is a good chance that has something to do with it. I can’t find a thread where I read something about a workaround where you open the Microsoft Store and sign in using a Microsoft account, which will integrate the account with your local account, giving you the benefits of both while still signing into Windows with the local account

before anyone asks, i tried doing the same thing in safe mode, which caused an even weirder behavior of microsoft store not opening at all, like id click on the icon and itd play the little animation that plays when u click on smth in ur taskbar to open it, but it simply didnt launch

the only last thing that comes to mind that might be of any help is that i activated win11 pro using one of those free activation keys (specifically that one batch program that does it for you)

I have an issue with MS Store too. After checking for updates, it goes to "Checking Dependencies " and stays there. The workaround I have is to sign out of my MS Account and sign back in again. When I do that and check again for Store updates it immediately starts downloading and installing - signing out of MS Store doesn't work. That would indicate to me that the issue you have is possibly Account related? Hope this helps.

then see if it connects and then allows the store to work.

No further information given, I used to get the error 0x87E10BC6 when trying to launch microsoft apps, but this has been fixed after a Windows 11 flash reinstall.
The reinstall seems to have fixed my main issue (snipping tool was barely working), but microsoft store still refuses to load properly.
I have tried many different things: reinstalling microsoft store, running chkdsk and DISM, and reinstalling win11 as stated; but none of these have worked.

I have run wsreset.exe, and it is not a server issue, I've had this for about a year. My time and timezone are set automatically too.

ive finally decided to give up by factory resetting, doing an entirely fresh reset of windows, this has fixed everything, consider this a solution

Today, I could not launch WhatsApp. It appeared to launch, but then shut down instantly.
I used Revo Pro to uninstall, but there were many remnants.

Trying to reinstall from the MS Store failed repeatedly with the error, something went wrong at our end!
