Since the CU KB5058411 MS Store checking/updating for app updates is acting strange.

Found updates will either go to checking compatibility or Qued and then hang. Update this morning I started at 5:38AM DST and update finished finally at 7:39AM. Both updated successfully.
Looking at the Event Manager I am seeing this log under applications every time something updates from the 'Store'.

The description for Event ID 2562 from source Microsoft-Windows-AppXDeploymentServer/Operational cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

MSIXDeployment
windows.applicationData
DeleteMachineFolder
Package Microsoft.SecHealthUI_1000.27777.1008.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe removed machine folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\AppRepository\Families\ApplicationData\Microsoft.SecHealthUI_8wekyb3d8bbwe: The system cannot find the path specified.

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

I have tried resetting the 'Store', Restarting the PC several times, the log is still generated. Event ID 2562
I tried googling this and it seems to point to Azure AD. I'm using Win11 Home, Azure AD is not part of Home version.

Thanks in advance

I'm also getting this for every MS Store app that downloads an update. Happens for every single one, every single time. As far as I can tell, the apps download and install correctly.

Any ideas what this could be?

An example below - always under "applications" in event viewer:

The description for Event ID 2562 from source Microsoft-Windows-AppXDeploymentServer/Operational cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

@TheVisitor Getting a few more weird bits of behaviour with this bug too - sometimes the error message appears to suggest that the MS Store is trying to install apps I don't even use, like Microsoft Solitaire Collection (uninstalled years ago). Not sure if you're getting this too?

I tried an App repair and reset but this didn't really do anything - (Settings > Apps > Installed Apps > System Components).

Not sure if you're getting the same symptoms? No one else appears to be having this bug as far as I know. SFC and DISM don't throw up any errors and my PC is operating as expected.

So far I've not seen any downloads that I don't already have. I too tried those remedies and like you did not make any difference..

Have you tried the latest preview update? I don’t usually install previews but worth a shot at fixing the problem?

I really don’t want to reinstall windows lol

Hi. Yes, I've been having some issues with MS Store with app updates either queued or Checking Dependencies. The workaround I found was to sign out of either the MS or Local Accounts and sign back in. After that when Checking for MS Store app updates it goes straight to Downloading and installs.

I found this from Brirnk on clearing the store cache. The set where you delete the SID is making me nervous so asked Brink, waiting on reply.

Hi, I found this from Brink: Reset and Clear Microsoft Store Cache in Windows 11

I'm working my way through. I was just advised my Brink that it is safe to delete the SID.

EDIT: I just did the procedure, check store for updates found 2. They updated just find but.... the error event ID 2562 still kicks out in Event Viewer.
