Microsoft whats wrong with you (Phone link)

winver 25H2 insider (no noob) ver 26000.9267 phone link opens but cannot activate open home screen on pc. worked fine with al other updates except this one. No answer from MS. They are working on it "Phone Link stuck on "Use your mobile device from your PC" screen; continue button does nothing - Microsoft Q&A" No help of course. Samsung pushed a USB phone link app udate today but no joy. Still broken this side. anyone else have this problem as of the referenced udate with solution that works. I ran through most of the suggestions with no solution that works.
Works fine for me on build 26200.9267. I'm using Phone Link version 1.26072.251.0 and Link to Windows beta 1.26072.176. I should mention ver 1.26072.251.0 did require relinking my PC's and phone though no matter the Windows build.

I've tried the Phone Link app umpteen times! :nope:
I've resigned to using my Phone as a phone and my PC as a PC..., ne'er the twain shall meet!!!
Hi @Edwin,

What type of phone do you have? iPhone or Android?

I have an iPhone and for those of us on iOS, the Phone Link integration is not only inferior to Android but, traditionally, it has not been as smooth. That is, when I either replaced my laptop or got a new iPhone, what a nightmare it was trying to pair and get my iPhone setup again with Phone Link! Long story short, but my basic solution was to delete my iPhone (from Phone Link, Bluetooth & devices settings, and even Device Manager), reboot, and then try to re-pair my iPhone with Phone Link. The worst was when I had to go into the bowels of Device Manager and delete all sorts of things that were associated with my iPhone.

But over time, the experience of pairing an iPhone (at least for me) has become extremely pain-free and I no longer stress/panic if I am replacing my laptop or iPhone: The setup/re-pairing process has worked perfectly for me the last couple of years.

My most valuable and used feature of Phone Link is the Windows notification integration, where I am notified of a one-time validation/authentication code and I can simply hit the "Copy" button to copy it to the clipboard and then paste it into the corresponding app. Having to manually check my phone and then manually type in the code is such a pain, so I truly cannot live without this feature. 😊

My second-most valuable and used feature is the file transfer. I mainly always only transfer from my iPhone to my laptop, but this feature is so much easier and faster than physically connecting my iPhone and then navigating into the iPhone device folder, finding (via image preview) the file(s) I want to copy, and then copying them. I can't live without this feature as well!

But what should be my most valuable and used feature is not, unfortunately: The call integration! It actually works great and I can hear people through my PC speakers clearly and loudly, without any issues whatsoever. Unfortunately, it's hit-and-miss, but some people have reported that they can't hear me clearly; consequently, I always make and receive phone calls via my iPhone. I'm guessing this is a laptop issue because there are never any issues placing or receiving calls and I can hear people perfectly via Phone Link.
