I hate peer pressure and you should too.
Hello all, I have a nagging issue on my Windows 11 laptop. I have 10 or so apps that are in the startup folder that appear in the system tray when I reboot with no trouble. However, I have 4 that open in a normal window on my screen (which I don't want). I'd like for those apps to do exactly what the others do, just dissappear into my system tray until needed. I have opened each app and if there is an option to start the app minimized, it's turned on. Additionally I have done the right click>properties>start minimized but neither of those things seem to have any effect on my problem. I even have tried a few applications like "Minimizetotray" but it has 2 issues 1) It does not work automatically and 2) It minimizes the app while the normal window for that app is open. So in effect it causes 2 instances of the same app to be running at the same time. I'm struggling to find a solution. All I'm after is when I startup, everything that goes in the system tray should just go there. Nothing should open on my desktop. Any and all help would be appreicated and thanks in advance for your assistance.
