Solved Moved system to new PC: new info shows on startup

Moved the OS and programs successfully to newer PC, installed new RAM. Went to BIOS and set Startup to the right drive and Windows Boot Manager, but now when I start or restart, a couple of black screens with white messages about boot process flash by (never had those before) and when Windows launches, the first personal icon that shows above my username is the generic MS person, then it changes to my account picture and finishes the launch to the desktop.
All this has added 6-8 seconds to the boot time.
How do I set BIOS to stop posting messages during boot process?

It would help if you posted a "picture" of the message(s).

I'd have to be fast with the camera on my phone. First one appears to say something about Configuration Manager, and second shows Intel and offers <esc> to enter BIOS. Both are brief, but I'd like them to be absent, as on all my other machines.

Start by disabling RAID in your BIOS, chances are that is what you are seeing, the RAID BIOS Configuration screen. The enter BIOS screen is likely to stay though.

I could be wrong though, so do comb through the BIOS and make notes of any settings that are unfamiliar to you, then Google them to see what you can find out about them.

The last restart, the Config manager message (top-left on black screen) was gone, but the three-line message with Intel Corporation on the top line and something about entering Bios with ESC key on third line appeared TWICE!

First off, what motherboard do you have?

Have you updated the BIOS yet?

Well, without knowing exactly what the messages are... check the BIOS.
They may have options about what shows on the screen during boot.

It could also be some unchangeable Lenovo thing?

Or it might be something you "need" to deal with in the BIOS, and the comp is trying to tell you that?

BIOS update version is dated 2022. MB is
Motherboard Model: LENOVO 3132
Motherboard Chipset: Intel Q370 (Cannon Lake-H)

If you moved system from one hardware to new hardware doesn't this mean the system will retain some configuration about the hardware from previous computer that is now incorrect on new hardware, ex. registry settings?

Maybe it's trying to tell you to update the BIOS.

I'm giving up though. It a desktop from a proprietary company.
And everyone knows they require special ancient wisdom, that I know nothing about, because I always build my own.

Don't think so. I moved the registry along with the rest of the system. Nothing is on this computer (that was on it when it came in through my door) except the CPU and the BIOS. New NVMe x 2 and new RAM. Original SSD discarded.

I think that's what @zebal is saying... something you brought over from the old computer is making the new computer... mad. And since it can't talk... it has to spam messages at you.

Yes, by moving the windows you also move registry, but registry isn't updated for new hardware components.

Reinstalling drivers should update it for new components.

I exported all drivers from PC as it came in, and exported all drivers from machine I moved the system from. Reinstall drivers from which set?

Lenovo site shows no update available for the current mobo. Installed (and later uninstalled) all their software for driver scanning and system scanning. Two recommendations, and I took both, but one was for LAN and one for Interface (?), neither of which seems to have anything to do with the UEFI.

I understand only mobo and CPU are same and everything else (ram, disks etc. are new)

Drivers for hardware which you currently have in this order:

1. Chipset drivers followed by reboot
2. All other drivers followed by reboot + reboots if any driver asks for reboot

Reinstall them all even if certain hardware such as CPU or mobo are same.
Ex. if you changed ram reinstalling chipsets might do something new to registry.

And if this doesn't solve anything at least it will be one possibility less to think about and you can focus on other stuff.

This tells me that you need to double check your boot priority in the BIOS making sure of the order.
Are you sure you are booting using MBR and not booting in UEFI mode?
On my system I can boot using Realtek UEFI with Network Stack enabled, this delays the boot up process and text is displayed at boot.
Device Media Ready ... white text on black .

Didn't resolve anything. 9 drivers were accepted; all other reported as already installed. Muliple reboots since then and no change.

What do you mean, "Are you sure you are booting using MBR and not booting in UEFI mode?" Shouldn't I be booting into UEFI?

I think the order is correct: My NVMe system disk and Windows Boot Manager, not Network or USB or Storage Disk.
