Moving Taskbar to the top of the main monitor

did some searching, tried several methods. The registry edit method changes 5th value to 01, restarting explorer resets that value to 03. what step am i missing here?

This is for 24h2 just installed this week.

I suspect whatever you're talking about here, whatever that source is/was that indicated what could be done, is outdated and has been superseded by subsequent updates that makes any changes invalid

Without knowing that source, it's impossible to advise definitively.

google "move taskbar to the top", click on a couple different links....


they show how to edit the registry, but i dont think thats the problem, my registry settings are not taking effect.

As everyone has said, not going to happen unless you use something like Windhawk as dacrone mentions or pay for Stardock Start11v2 in which place you can put it at the bottom, side, top etc.
