Solved MS Edge keeps popping up after sleep.

Hey all!

So, as the title says, every time I wake the notebook from sleep, Edge pops up. This is from the last update
and never happened before.

Question is, how do I stop it from popping up as soon as the notebook wakes.
I can't see any options in Edge to stop it and also tried this reg edit fix but, as
you can see, it didn't work. And yes, I did create a restore point before hand.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet\EnableActiveProbing

How do I get to that exact Settings. I don't seem to have that in Settings or in System ??
This is my Settings app.

@Flashorn - You need to do it from within Edge. Open Edge then go to the 3-dots at top-right then click on 'Settings'. Then click on 'System and Performance' to show the screen above.
Sorry I did not make that clear. I can understand that you would have thought I meant Windows 11 'Settings' and not Edge 'Settings'.

OK, got it. It's the Edge settings and yes everything is OFF

let me put it sleep once more and see again.

And for the record, I do believe it's my fault this happened.
You see, I always shut off the mouse to conserve it's battery life.
I then switch back to the mouse pad on the notebook to put it
to sleep but, by doing that, the mouse pointer , when coming out of
sleep goes directly to Edge shortcut in the Start Menu.
So, the fix will be to Unpin the Edge shortcut and that should fix
my stupid mistake. I don't know why I didn't realize this before
bothering all of you people. I guess I didn't see where the pointer
was when this happened.

@Flashorn - But unpinning the Edge shortcut will only cause any programs underneath (Unless Edge is the bottom of the program list) to move up one place and the mouse pointer will then be located over that causing that to open instead of Edge. Won't it?

Sorry to be so late but, Family.

Just now took it out of sleep and (wish I had taken a screen) No Edge
popping up after unpinning it from Start. I replaced it with Firefox (Private Browsing)
and the pointer just stayed on the start menu without going straight to the Firefox
icon.
Firefox is my default browser so, Edge takes control no matter what it seems.
Anyway, it is truly resolved.
