What is ms-gameoverlay? I started playing Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and a pop-up window said that I was missing that file. I searched on Google for an description, but the only thing I found was a way to remove it without saying what it is.

Xbox Game Bar, which was probably uninstalled.

Thanks. Yeah, I uninstalled Xbox Game Bar because I don't play XBox games and I was trying to get rid of programs I don't need. Or should I add the Xbox Game Bar back?

How do I add those lines to my system? Do I open Command Prompt?

Run those commands as Administrator from either CMD or PowerShell. Doesn't matter.

"Xbox" on Windows is a bit of misleading marketing. All Windows gaming features are now labeled "Xbox". Like music and movies are "Zune". The game bar is just a standardized API that different game publishers can all use to overlay random stuff. A lot of people go without it.
