I agree with the explanations that those strange early driver dates are a mechanism for ranking driver priorities so that generic MS drivers do not overwrite OEM-provided ones, but
several people have recently reported, and I have witnessed, Windows update ignoring those ranking rules and overwriting OEM drivers with older ones, so
I agree with the suggestion about disabling all hardware updates in Windows update until this currently-unacknowledged Windows update problem is fixed.
