MS Outlook Password Confusion

Outlook has made it simple to add e-mail accounts, including Outlook, Yahoo, and Gmail. However, I have found that it is impossible to completely remove them and their data, specifically passwords. I decided to change a Gmail account password that was added to Outlook. First, I got an error about inability to connect to a server and tried to go in and find somewhere to reenter password. There is no place to do so, whether repairing automatically or choosing to try and do it manually. I removed the account and data file (ost) and went to re-add it. Surprisingly, the e-mail address was still in a drop-down menu to be added (I'm not sure how to clear this too) and when I clicked to create the account, this time I was not prompted with the Gmail pop up screen to grant permission and enter my password. It automatically added the account and seems to be working. I figured Google had accepted Outlook as an approved 3rd party app with access and therefore I no longer need to add my password. However, when I go to my Google account online, there are no apps listed as having access. 1) How do you completely delete password and other data when removing an account in Outlook and 2) how does Google and Outlook still connect after I changed the password and no app is showing as having access in Google?

Well..good news...it appears Google was just delayed in prompting me for new password. After a little while, when logging in, Outlook did require me to enter the new password.

I get that issue intermittently. It's a third-party app access issue. I am unable to use Outlook with Google synced to it on my Smartwatch. Constant log in screen asking to allow permission, but I have it synced on smartphone without issue. Weird. Microsoft Support will tell you to Set up 2 step Authentication and change your password. I haven't set up the 2 step but I did change my password. All was good for a few months, but the popup started again yesterday, and I don't know what ap or program is causing it.
