MSI and Norton 360

Windows 11 Pro - version 24H2
Every time I open MSI Center to see if I need to install any updates, MSI asks if I want to install Norton 360. I always say "No." Is there any way to keep MSI from even asking?

I just installed MSI Center i had no offer to install Norton 360.

The Gigabyte control center does the same thing, they obviously get a commission on Norton if the sucker actually installs it! :rolleyes:

I have MSI Center, and when I launch it, it doesn't offer to install Norton.

However, when I search for drivers using "Live Update," the option to install Norton appears in the window, but it's not selected by default, so that doesn't bother me.

Edit: If it's a Windows notification from MSI Center, disable notifications for that application.

I do get notifications from that application occasionally, I think. I select "Repeat," and there are three options. I don't remember exactly.

Now that you mention it, I did select “Live Update” as I thought that would be the easiest way to get updates. But I’ll turn Live Update off.
