Hi everyone,

I have been having multiple BSOD events.

I am running a Lenovo Edge 15 laptop (model 20RDCTO1WW)
256GB NVME SSD
2TB 2.5" HDD
16 GB of RAM, which I checked with the Windows memory tool

1) Please run the Lenovo UEFI hardware diagnostics > take pictures > post images or share links







2) Run Memtest86+ for 8 or more passes > take pictures > post images or share links

Just 1 error is a test fail and testing can be aborted.

The more the passes the better the testing conditions.

It sometimes takes passes into the 20's to detect malfunctioning RAM.

The RAM can be tested all at one time or one at a time in the same DIMM.

I cannot get memtest to run on a USB stick. I have tried the official USB tool and RUFUS. I also turned off Secure Boot. Nothing works. I have no idea why.

Steps that can be tried:


1. Try another USB stick



2. Try all USB ports (2.0 and 3.0)



3) Turn off:

a) Secure boot
b) Fast boot
c) Ultrafast boot

4) Temporarily modify BIOS settings:

a) UEFI native (without CSM) > UEFI hybrid (with CSM)
or

Are there any markers in Device Manager?
Does Reliability History have any entries ?
Temporarily disconnect from the Internet and run Windows Defender and see if that makes any difference.
In Terminal [admin ] type in---dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth ---and run it.When completed,type in and run ---sfc /scannow ---and run it until a clean report is given.
Do you have a Restore Point effective before the problem started ?
