Multiple driver entries "ntprint.inf" with different version numbers and cannot be (force) removed ...

As of lately I have multiple driver entries of "ntprint.inf" with different version numbers in the driver store on several machines ...
They cannot be removed or even forcedly removed with driver store explorer ... any ideas where they came from and why I cannot remove any older versions than 6899?

I have the feeling this MS mess has to do with the deprecated FAX & Scan "feature"
