hi, my computer has been having a problem for a few weeks now. As soon as I enter games like fifa and car mechanic simulator after a few minutes the computer turns off by itself. I would like to know if someone can help me, thanks.

I would suspect either a cooling issue or a BSOD.

If there are no .dmp files here (C:\Windows\Minidump\), or at least none that correspond to the timestamps for when the system powers off then you may want to run a tool that can show you real-time temperatures such as HWMonitor or SpeedFan. You will also need to check your CPU specs for expected temperatures.

Another place to look for clues is in the eventviewer under the system log for power related errors.

yes, is a BSOD but idk what causes it.

I had already done temperature tests, of all components and they were fine, it's not a power problem either because I have a 1000w source and my drivers are all updated.
I have I9900 a 5600 xt a z390 and 16gb ram ddr4 3200rpm

Could be a cooling issue. Especially since the PC powers off shortly after your gaming session starts. It could also be a power supply issue.

With that, if the PC is new and still under warranty, I'd have it looked at.

Having a 1000-watt PS doesn't mean it can't be a power problem. Been there done that, and it was a power supply issue.

No, my PC is home made so isn't under warranty. I had already done temperature tests, of all components and they were fine, and i think that isn't a power problem either because I have a 1000w source.

I too have 1000-watt power supplies in my main rig (system one) and my backup rig. Doesn't mean they can't fail. See my post here - Random Lockups.

That said, I'm not guaranteeing it is a power supply, I'm simply saying don't overlook it.

Oh, and have you looked at temps while actually gaming? Open a temp reading app and have it run while gaming. Check temps as you game.

Good luck.

I also suspect it's a temp issue.
When a CPU runs at extremely high temps, it will shut down to prevent further damage.
Try re-pasting your CPU.
You can also try to manually ramp up your CPU fan curve before opening the game and see if that helps. It will be loud but it is what it is.
