Solved My name and email show up on granddaughters settings page

Setup a new laptop for one of my granddaughters using a Local Account. On the initial settings page it shows my name and email address. See pic. Under her accounts settings page it shows her account name correctly. Using win 11. How do I change this to her name and email.

I had posted with a screenshot originally but was told to take the image down because it showed my email. I will repost the image with the email blacked out. It will take a couple of hours to get to it.

Here's the screenshot with my name and email scratched out. This is my info on my granddaughter's laptop. I wish to replace it with her info.

How did you do this, was the laptop originally yours? If so, did you just try to change the username, instead of creating a new account?

It is a new laptop that I set up for the granddaughter. After setup I accessed the Microsoft Store to download a copy of Minecraft. Thats the only contact with my Microsoft account that happened. I did it as part of setting up the computer after setting up windows Along with other non-Microsoft programs. I did the initial setup skipping the Microsoft sign in and installed to a local account.

As soon as you accessed the store, it asked you to log in, correct? You will probably need to remove access to your account in the Settings --> Accounts part- only then Minecraft won't automatically upgrade from the Store.

You may need to just manually install Minecraft on her account, and remove the Minecraft from the store and your Microsoft account from her login.

Or, make a Microsoft account for her, and set it as a kids account, and tie it to your own account. I've never done a kids account, so I'm not even sure how that would work. @Brink probably has a tutorial or three on this, though, somewhere here.

Yes when I access the store it asks me to sign in. I found my MS Account under Settings - Account. I don't see anyway to remove the account from the computer. My options are (Sign in options - All apps can sign me in) which is greyed out and (Account settings - Manage). When I click Manage it activates my browser to the Microsoft Account sign in page. How can I "remove access to my account?"

Unfortunately that's the easiest way to switch your account from a Local account to a Microsoft Account without you realising. 'Use this account everywhere...' and the Big Friendly Next Button will do just that. The trick is to click the small print 'Microsoft apps only' link.

Only that way can you sign in to the Store in while keeping your Local Account.

Now you sign in with a Microsoft Account on this PC, you'll have to switch it back to a Local Account. That will remove your name and email from the sign in page. It's easy to do, this tutorial shows how.....

It was a Local Account. I followed your tutorial to the "Your Info - Account Settings." Because it was already a Local Account it didn't match up with your tutorial from there on. What I did try was the option associating my MS Account from being needed to open MS programs. That immediately solved my problem and the Setting pages now shows my granddaughters name and listed as a Local Account right below her name.
