You think, they won't allow corperations to make there own domain/cloud, and connect there clients to it? Instead to the MS cloud? I think they will keep those options.

Don't see the AI flop happening. People are using AI for all kinds of everything. I have several friends who discovered how powerful and helpful ChatGPT was and are now both paying for subscriptions to it. Tons of enterprises are using AI for loads of workloads.
There are gubmint clouds, GCC and GCC High, for example, so not that far-fetched for governments either.
gov't is always about a decade ahead of what we know about.
Forecasting what Ms does or doesn't do is about as accurate as the UK govt economic agencies (OBR, ONS, Bank of E etc) in predicting the state of the UK economy where a typical horse racing tipster has a far better record in predicting winners.
