My Wifi Adapter had Suddenly Disappeared

I have Windows 11 on a Dell Inspiron laptop. All of a sudden my Wifi adapter is gone. It was working fine last night and when I woke it up this morning, no Wifi adapter available, only Bluetooth. I have been using a Qualcomm adapter for years without any problems.

I have searched Device Manager and no wireless adapters there, it's listed in the program list in Control Panel. I had uninstalled and reinstalled it, no change.

Any suggestions/comments on how to get it back will be much appreciated.

I understand, it's an external adapter. A stupid question: did you unplug it and plug it back and restart your computer ?

Is the adapter listed when you use this in the command line prompt?

netsh interface show interface

I perform a Hard Reset (Power Drain) and restart, the wifi Option suddenly came back and I'm able to connect to my wifi network now.
