Microsoft Windows 11 Pro 64-bit 22631 Multiprocessor Free
Just got this Dell laptop a few months ago. Windows 11 64Bit Home.

I have a Dell desktop with Windows 10 64 Bit Pro which, when I power it on, it automatically goes directly to my desktop; I had set it that way years back.

Would it be possible to do the same to my Dell Laptop, Inspiron 15-3530, to automatically boot to the desktop when I power it up, or open the cover from a sleep mode. I have set it up to do so, but seems to slowly revert to opening the log-in page. Sometimes, it will open the log-in page and then open the desktop, but most times, it will open and stays on the log-in page. When I hit the enter key or move the screen (Touch Screen), it then goes to the desktop. All these processes I don't and will never need. There should be the ability to ALWAYS boot to the desktop.

Cheers

I personally don’t believe that is normal. If you still face this issue after checking the above tutorials, let us know.

Hello folks, thanks for the information you sent me.

Currently, am on vacation in the UK, through mid August. I will try your directions when I get back to the Alaska.

For the past days, when I boot the laptop, it boots to the account, churns and automatically opens to the desktop.
Early last week, it gets stuck in the log-in page for me to ESC to go to the desktop. Also, it looks like 75% of the times I open a webpage, it ask so accept cookies, which makes me feel that I should come back to this issue when I get back home to the US. I sure will keep you posted to at least through the end of this month.

Cheers

It’s a pain in the butt. Depending on the browser, there are cookie saver add-ons that will help remember your cookie settings for a website.
The laws changed a while back, cookie notices are basically a required legal obligation now, hence them being acceptance notices on near every site.

Enjoy the UK 🙏

I must admit that it's gotten frustrating to get cookies notices in so may web pages; same as in my mobile phone. Ninety percent of the times, when I have to, I ignore the request since I plan on clearing all cookies as soon as I get back to Alaska.

Thanks. Am really enjoying my one-month vacation with the family. Since am not driving, I drink enough beer, same as when we visited Germany when I only drank if I know I was not going to drive soon.

If you have a local account, you can either remove password so it proceeds to load the desktop instead of presenting the login screen, or you can set it to automatically login as described in the tutorials. If you have a Microsoft account you only have the second option, you must configure it to automatically login, you cannot remove the password. In both cases it should boot directly to the desktop bypassing the login screen. You should see the login screen only if you had hibernating or sleep instead of normal shutdown.
