OS
10 and 11 Linux
Following directions that came with the WAP.......plugged into main router.....gives IP of 192.168.1.146......enter into browser and I get the
Linksys WAP login screen......light on the WA"P is solid green....

The password printed on the back of the WP does NOT work.......the login screen gives me a password hint to one of my personal passwords
and that password does NOT work.....

Per instructions to change the pw....reset the unit....which I did......takes about 10 minutes to be ready......bring up login screen
and passwords do not work.......I expected a screen that would allow me to reset the pw.....but it's the SAME login screen with the
same pw hint.....

Anyone know how I get around this...???

Many thanks
Steve

Sorry but it does not seem like a full reset was successful.

Sorry Steve, is the unit new or under warranty?
Otherwise, there is little that can be done to help you here.
