Never throw away old programs -- e.g Nero burning Rom 2021

Hi folks
There's always a need later on for maybe some legacy stuff which you don't always want to run on a VM e.g say aon an XP VM.

I'm in the middle of copying loads of classical music CD's to hard discs. Sometimes though the standard "rippers and taggers" just don't pic up the data from the actual CD tracks which then just appear as track1.cda, track2.cda etc.

My old copy of Nero reads the actual embedded CD stuff and then produces an accurate tagged rip of the tracks (I'm using Nero burning Rom 2021).

For instance this CD :

So, newer versions of Nero don't read CD-Text data? Maybe the option is disabled and you can enable it in settings. I remember older versions of Nero enabled different features depending on the keys you added to Nero Control Center.

Love the piano -- I've played a few times at the public piano's in London's St.Pancras train station (they have 2 - Elton John donated one) when in London and travelling to Brussels / Paris via the international train service Eurostar which is very good and uses the channel tunnel.

Last time I was in London I took the Eurostar to Paris. Very impressive, better than anythiing in the USA, including Acela on the Northeast Corridor. My first channel crossing, I took the night ferry.
