Solved New Folder on File Explorer Desktop

I've just noticed I have a 'new' folder - 'Removeable Storage Devices' - on my File Explore Desktop.

I don't know how this got here; I have not had any Windows Updates since installing 2022-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5015818) on 12 July.

Does anyone know where this has come from?
How can I suppress this being shown?

From what I see that Folder is in the Libraries [above This PC]. To me Libraries and Quick Access are merely shortcuts to the actual Folder, might check in Users and your login name for that actual folder. Or right-click that Folder and Properties, see what the location is. Also click the View tab and explore the Navigation pane.

Looks like you're an update behind. I've been updated to 22000.832.

Folder is pinned to 'Start'; so its easy to get rid off.
Shortcut location is C:\Users\I[username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

This is my current RTM Version of Win11 Pro, haven't been in any of the Insider Preview versions for awhile, computer I was using in Win10 IP wouldn't meed the proper requirements for Win11 and didn't get a new one until late April.

I have had that folder appear a few times, even on Windows 10, refreshing the desktop makes it disappear. Never had the folder on my Start Menu, or in Explorer. Strange, really no need to this anyway.

I have just rebooted after a normal shut down, and the offending folder has disappeared!!

However it was still pinned to 'Start' - now removed.
