Hi. Thought I'd introduce myself. I've been into computer's since middle school. My uncle and I built my first custom rig.
Ever since then, always built custom rigs since then.
I'm typing this from my new rig. I'm new to Windows 11, but not windows generally. Although the last version I used regularly was Win7. I've found most of my solutions to problems through googling. I switched back to Windows from Linux, because to put it frankly Linux accessibility is horrible. I have a visual impairment, and most of the desktop environments don't even have carrot tracking built in to their screen magnifiers. The only DE that does is GNOME. Which means it's the only usable DE for me.
So far pretty happy with my Windows 11 experience. I even got used to the new start menu, but ultimately decided to install OpenShell to get the classic Win95/98 start menu back. I'm a firm believer Microsoft never improved upon their start menu, except possibly with Windows Vista/7. But I just prefer the classic menu.
I'll end it here before I write a novel.
