PowerToys github:
This preview keeps Command Palette keyboard focus responsive, improves installer process cleanup, and expands end-to-end coverage for Environment Variables and Crop And Lock.
Highlights
- Command Palette: Prevented clicks on empty or non-focusable content from moving focus outside the shell and breaking keyboard shortcuts.
- Installer: Added missing CLI and helper processes to setup cleanup so active binaries do not block updates.
- Environment Variables: Added end-to-end coverage for user variables, profiles, overrides, PATH editing, and persistence.
- Crop And Lock: Added end-to-end coverage for thumbnail and reparent modes with unpackaged and packaged applications.
